Not just because he would ultimately become one of the greatest long-distance runners in the world, but also because of the life lessons he learned on the trail. His journey brought him to the Olympics, to coaching, to his wife and much more. He knows he was only able to get there by the grace of God. Ryan shares how the principles he gleaned from being an elite runner gave him the courage to face life’s hills, valleys and the many miles between.
